Meet The Team

Karen – Director
Karen is a registered nurse having worked in a variety of care settings across her decades long career. She has extensive experience with mental health, brain injuries, neurodiversity and supporting participants and their family in their journey. Karen is passionate about education and learning new skills. When Karen isn’t helping her participants navigate their plans or engaging with workshops she likes to walk on the beach and travel
Emily – Business Operations Manager and Human Resources
Emily has years of experience in running business operations and navigating government policy. She has experience with mental health, brain injuries and neurodiversity. When Emily isn’t managing the business operations of Lotus she works with children and crochets stuffed animals.
Eric – Finance Administration Officer
Eric is our experienced finance officer. He is experienced in navigating NDIS funding, ensuring we can help our participants use their plans to the fullest.
Olivia – Social and Recreational Support
Olivia is one of our much-loved support carers who works closely with Karen to organise and run social events for Lotus Disability. Well-rounded in her experience and understanding of participants’ needs and journeys, Olivia is a laid-back presence at our workshops and social events. In her free time, she likes to listen to Harry Styles.
Leah – Social and Recreational Support
Leah is the creative mind behind our garden and craft workshop. She has years of experience working with different abilities and brings her passion and excitement to our groups When she isn’t working with our participants and teaching them how to care for their plants she is pottering around her own garden.
